I am a family medicine physician at University of Vermont Medical Center, focusing on obstetrics, comprehensive reproductive health, transgender and LGBTQ care, pediatrics, addiction medicine and care of New Americans. I treat gender dysphoria, cardiovascular and metabolic conditions (diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity), gynecologic and reproductive issues and depression/anxiety.I believe in collaborative decision-making with my patients while embracing complementary therapies and supporting healthy lifestyles. I practice a family-centered approach to prenatal care, delivery and child wellness.Beyond my career in family medicine, I'm an assistant professor at UVM Larner College of Medicine. My research interests include reproductive health, maternal-child health, transgender care and anti-racism. I live with my wife, child and chickens in Burlington.
