I specialize in heart and vascular conditions such as heart attacks, heart valve disease and treatment of hypertension and hyperlipidemia, which is an abnormally high concentration of fats in the blood.My research includes understanding factors that promote the formation of blood clots and the optimal use of treatments to prevent blood clots, which are an important cause of heart attack and stroke.I enjoy working with people to help prevent the development or progression of cardiovascular disease. I view my relationship with my patients as a partnership focused on health.
