I have directed the division of cardiothoracic surgery at University of Vermont Medical Center and served as a professor of surgery in the department of surgery at UVM Larner College of Medicine for more than two decades.As the associate VP for operations at UVM Medical Group, my practice interests include adult coronary and valvular surgery, limited pediatric cardiac surgery, thoracic aortic aneurysm surgery and surgery for adult congenital abnormalities.Patients and their safety are sacrosanct. I manage conditions such as valvular heart disease and coronary artery disease with treatments that include aortic valve replacement and coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG).
